Greater Days Ahead

Just about every morning for the past six months I’ve been getting up at about 5am-ish to go for a one mile run. Now I know that for a lot of you 24 hour non-stop go-getters, and you early raisers getting up at 5am-ish is a late start and for all you marathon runners one mile isn’t even considered a warm-up. But the most exciting part about these one mile runs is that I get to take them with my eleven year old son Christopher-Michael. See what I get out of these one mile runs is nothing compared to what I give. I give him quality time, I give him an example of manhood and fatherhood. I give him words of wisdom and most of all I give him love. So yeah getting up that early just for a one mile run may not seem like much in terms of running, health and all that stuff much. However, in terms of developing my son into being a man of character and integrity and sharing quality time with him and showing him an example of manhood and fatherhood, that one mile run goes a long, long way!
